FITBIR Data Submission Services

Many studies plan to submit their TBI study to FITBIR, but it is often something that doesn’t make it into the project plan.

QuesGen has developed a suite of tools used for cleaning data, creating the FITBIR forms, GUIDs and submitting the data into the FITBIR repository. If you have data that requires submission but would like to outsource the effort to clean and submit, we can do that for you.

Why use QuesGen for your data submission?

We have worked with the NIH FITBIR team since its inception and are familiar with the process for setting it up and submitting. There is a significant learning curve on the steps required to submit, we can do that for you.

Our tools save time and money. Since we have the mapping and extracting processes automated, we can complete your submission for much less that it would likely take for you to train one of your team members and complete the submission process.

How it works:

N

Step 1:

We evaluate the data that you have collected and come up with a mapping and submission strategy.

N

Step 2:

We provide you an estimate of the costs and timeframe required to submit the data.

N

Step 3:

We will sign a Business Associates Agreement (BAA) or Data Use Agreement (DUA) that will ensure that you understand that we will use your data only for the submission process.

N

Step 4:

You will share your data with us using a secure data submission process. All data submitted to FITBIR must be deidentified. We have tools that can remove all identifiers from the data so you can share your data exactly as collected.

N

Step 5:

Our data management team will load, clean, build the FITBIR mapping into the forms and common data elements and complete the submission.

N

Step 6:

We will share the confirmation with you and will purge any data provided based on your instructions.

What People Are Saying

The QuesGen database platform has been integral to allowing us to quickly and easily access data on our cohort of patients. Our goal in establishing the database was to better understand our patient population and to be able to have the ability for comparative analyses with like institutions. The ease of the platform and the support provided were added elements that have proven essential to its utility.

As the largest single-site TBI study, we have unique data management requirements. QuesGen tailored their platform to successfully meet our needs. At the Minnesota State Fair, we were able to collect data on approximately 700 people from the general population in less than two weeks. This was in large part due to the efficient and intuitive setup with QuesGen.

QuesGen personnel contributed substantially to the curation process. The QuesGen team provided experience and expertise that was invaluable to the CENTER-TBI team and the overall study.

Our complex study model required partnering with a company that could provide a data collection with a dedicated study-specific eCRF with stratum-specific workflows which QuesGen Systems was able to provide.
