The “Soda and Milk Study” is looking to see the health effects of drinking soda vs. drinking milk in teen boys who usually drink a lot of sugar sweetened drinks (like soda). We are looking to see how drinking soda vs. milk might affect risk factors of heart disease, including blood pressure, “bad” cholesterol levels, and how well your body processes sugar in your blood.
To be in the study, you need to be a teen boy who usually drinks 24 ounces or more of sugar sweetened drinks (click here for a list of sugar sweetened drinks) and willing to drink milk for 3 weeks.
