QuesGen has been in business for over four years. The same core management team and developers have been in place throughout the entire process of identifying and delivering solutions unique to the research community. Though heavily weighted in the academic research market, QuesGen has also developed successful commercial studies. We have had conservative growth, making sure that the product and our customer service is of high quality, reliable and will scale well. In 2008, we are planning to increase our sales and marketing effort to grow the company a little bit more quickly and add some additional staff.

The role we play in your study: We have been involved in many studies and have proven ideas about how best to manage technology in a research environment. Many of our clients involve us in initial project status meetings in the earlier phases of their project. We strive to do everything that we can to ensure that a project is as successful as possible by being flexible and responsive before and throughout the length of the study. By deploying a QuesGen platform, you can be confident in your data history and the integrity of the data management.

Company Vision: We believe that using web-based tools for managing research data is optimal. It removes physical barriers to working with geographically dispersed subjects and personnel. In some situations, the study subjects can enter data themselves via the Web. Removing the requirement that a person meet with a provider or research assistant to collect data increases convenience for staff and study participants.

A Small, Focused Company: We plan to grow, but in a controlled and reasonable manner. We are frequently asked about our funding. The company is bootstrapped and has no outside investors at this time. That is something that we revisit periodically, as outside investment will allow us to grow more quickly. Often, outside investment comes with other pressures or may cause a changed agenda. We have built our infrastructure so that we can scale well, and at this point we are generating enough revenue that we are a viable, on-going business (unlike so many start-up companies that are dependent on subsequent rounds of funding to be viable).
